We are looking for a fully-qualified accountant with at least 1-2 years post-qualification experience within the Charity sector, and a good understanding of SORP requirements. You will be responsible for Partnering with senior stakeholders internal and external to the business, providing them with accurate management information and advising them during the decision making process. The key aspect to this role is ensuring the Charity always achieves Value for Money through effective investment and management of costs. *You will take responsibility for *Management of company budgets; *Reporting to CEO and COO *Year-end accounts and audit *Cash management models *Acting as finance lead on a variety of projects including investments and restricted funds *Overseas contact - ensuring effective stakeholder relationships and communication on business planning processes You must demonstrate strong staff management skills as you will be supervising an Accounts Assistant, and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Excellent communication skills are vital as you will need to convey complex financial information to staff from non-finance backgrounds, and staff from overseas offices.
