Role / Principal Accountabilities:
- Administration support to the Equity Cash Sales team [14] on the Equity Trading Floor
- Deal with telephone enquiries, answering the dealerboard when sales team are all engaged on the telephone and providing back up cover over lunch when required
- Manage and coordinate complex domestic and international travel, logistics and analyst meetings
- Process team expenses in the required timeframe
- You will also update client contact research information in a custom database; create company profiles; prepare research materials for meetings from online databases
- Ability to manage and implement bespoke project work to support the sales team
- Specific responsibility for diary management of team leader
- Liaise as directed with overseas offices
- Perform various secretarial, administrative and clerical functions as required using MS Word and PowerPoint and Excel
- Manage the diaries / calendars for team members
- HR Administration including maintaining of personal records, holiday and absence database, setting up of new joiners and temps, interviews, arranging training courses
- Provide back-up to other assistants during holiday/illness
- Scope to develop role and take on additional responsibilities with client administration duties
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Hours 07h30-17h30
- A pre-requisite to have solid trading floor sales assistant experience
- Crucial to be proficient with Excel and Power Point
- Positive attitude; initiative and strong planning, meticulously detail oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage ever changing and conflicting priorities
- Ability to interact confidently at all levels
- Proactive and flexible approach with limited need for direction or supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a pressured and stressful environment
