The Role

This role is part of a team involved with the production of financial information for the a variety of desks within Capital Markets division of the Bank. It will be tasked with providing daily and monthly financial information and forms part of the Trading Desk Financial Control team, working with a great team of qualified accountants and the Head Trading Accountant. The role has a fairly technical oversight including interpretation of IFRS in relation to Hedge Accounting, IFRS disclosure as well as the oversight of daily P&L and Capital usage with related analysis amongst other financial control areas.Due to the position and seniority of the role it is vital that applicants have experience in Financial/Product Control from a Banking/Treasury environment, experience of working with derivatives (i.e. FX & Interest rate swaps; Equity derivatives), knowledge and experience of IFRS disclosure as well as strong IFRS accounting knowledge with specific experience around Hedge Accounting. Strong academic backgrounds are preferred and applicants should also be fully qualified accountants.Interviews will be conducted before Christmas, please apply asap to be considered.
