Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an interim Financial Accountant for a reporting and reconciliation role based in London on behalf of a well known Public Sector Organisation.

This interim role of Senior Financial Accountant will focus initially on improving processes and controls in advance of the Year End audit. The suitable candidate will be required to communicate with both financial and non-financial stakeholders and will have a strong reconciliation and technical reporting background. The role will require experience in performing Year End procedures, preparing working papers for external auditors, dealing with ad hoc finance queries from various departments and undertake FOI requests. The candidate will also be required to streamline and implement financial processes. The assignment is expected to run for 3 to 6 months commencing the third week in January and the ideal candidate will preferably be a qualified accountant with a background primarily from the Public Sector with exposure to managing the Annual Audit.

Salary & Benefits
