About our client
Our client is one of the highest profile funds in Africa with substantial capital under management. It focuses on pan-African deals and has an outstanding track record. It is currently looking to recruit a VP to join the London based investment team.
Responsibilities
- You will be actively involved in a support capacity in all aspects of the investment process, in monitoring the portfolio and in marketing the fund
- Responsibility for researching the market for investment opportunities and trends helping source and screen investments working on all aspects of a transaction and running part of the investment due diligence process
- Assist in the management of portfolio companies
Skills we’re looking for
- Strong financial and strategic analysis experience gained from investment banking and/or private equity
- Strong analytical, modelling and reporting skills
- Tangible link to Africa, be it through heritage or previous work experience
- An exceptional academic record
- Strong commercial acumen
